What are butter bath bombs? (and why you'll love them!)

Let’s clear something up… not all bath bombs are created equal. Some fizz, look pretty, smell nice… and that’s about it.

Butter bath bombs? They do a bit more.

They still give you that satisfying fizz (we’re not taking that away), but they also melt into your bath thanks to added cocoa butter and shea butter. That means instead of just coloured water, you’re soaking in something that actually feels good on your skin.

So what’s the difference?

A traditional bath bomb is mostly about the fizz — fun, quick, and then it’s gone.

A butter bath bomb is fizz and function. As it dissolves, those skin-loving butters slowly melt into the water, creating a softer, more conditioning soak.

Why cocoa butter + shea butter?

These are the real stars of the show.

  • Cocoa butter helps lock in moisture and leaves skin feeling smooth

  • Shea butter is known for its softening and soothing properties

Together, they turn your bath from a quick moment into something that actually leaves your skin feeling cared for afterwards.

Will it feel greasy?

Nope — and this is where the magic is.

A good butter bath bomb (hi 👋) is balanced so you get that soft, silky water without any heavy or sticky feeling. Think conditioned, not coated.

The best of both worlds

You still get:

✨ The fizz

✨A small bit of colour

✨ The scent

But now you also get:

🧈 Soft, nourished skin

🛁 A more luxurious soak

💛 A bath that actually does something

Once you try a fizz-and-melt bath… it’s very hard to go back.
