How to create the perfect bath ritual at home

A bath is a bath… but it can also be a whole moment.
If you’re going to take the time, you may as well do it properly. Here’s how to turn your bath into something you actually look forward to (and not just a quick dip before bed).
Step 1: Set the mood (yes, it matters)
We’re not saying you need a full spa setup… but a little effort goes a long way.
Soft lighting or candles
A playlist, podcast, or complete silence (underrated)
Phone on do not disturb (be brave)
Step 2: Get the temperature right
Not too hot, not too lukewarm — think comfortably warm.
Too hot can actually dry your skin out, which defeats the whole point of your dreamy soak. But you need the water to be warm enough for your butter bath bomb to melt effectively!
Step 3: Choose your bath upgrade
This is where things get fun:
Butter Bath Bombs → for the full fizz + melt experience
Butter Sprinkles → for a more custom soak (a little or a lot, your rules)
Little bonus tip: butter bath bombs are actually perfect prep before fake tanning. The gentle fizz helps soften the skin, while the butters leave it smooth and conditioned — making it easier for tan to apply more evenly (and cling to the right places).
Step 4: Take your time
This isn’t a 5-minute situation.
Give yourself at least 20–30 minutes to actually relax and enjoy it. Let the scent settle, let the butters do their thing, and just… exist for a bit.
Step 5: Aftercare (don’t skip this)**
Once you’re out:
Pat your skin dry (don’t rub)
Enjoy how soft your skin feels (this is your reward)
The goal?
Not perfection. Not aesthetics.
Just a bath that feels good, smells good, and gives you a bit of breathing space.
Simple, but effective.
